After a long day opening up the house for Summer, we were starving. Looked in Yelp for a near by Pizza spot and found G's was close by. It was awesome! Great Pizza and Bread Sticks and loved the homemade Ranch Dressing for dipping! I have been coming up north for years and driven past G's many times and never knew anything about it. I will definitely be going back often, great food and staff. Oh and they have a full sized stuffed Brown Bear in a glass case as well!

My in-laws frequent this location while up north so they chose to introduce us. We grabbed a booth upstairs and chose the pickle chips for a starter. They were just ok, the breading was not really sticking to them, but they had a little kick. My husband and I opted for the deep dish, Big Al's I think it is called and it was so good! The crust was brushed with olive oil and garlic and I wish I would have had room to eat more. I could have done with a side of marinara to just dip my sauce in!! It took a bit to get my wine too, but the waitress apologized because she had to go downstairs to get it and then couldn't find a glass either. I would definitely stop back when in the area.

Love the atmosphere. Good food. Great beer on tap. Lots of character. Has a two level bar. A must see for west branch.

I had to tell the prep cook to wash his hands before he touched my food. He was playing with his hair and beard, and didn't use the plastic gloves despite the fact they were right next to him on the counter. Pretty disgusting

Always the BEST. Sesame crust! What's not to love? Spears!! Wish they had the Cheboygan Blood Orange, but they ran out of the Cheboygan Lighthouse Ale. We tried North Peak's India Pale Ale. It was ok. But as always the pizza was the big draw. Ask fo Liz, she was a lot of fun! We will pull a MacArthur - we WILL be back!

Back again after about a year. We had the Florentine pizza again. Still a different, but awesome pizza. We will be back.

The best pizza in a west Branch- hands down! All of our friends from other towns agree that it's some of the best they've had. The wait staff is always very friendly and quick to give you a refill on your drink. The inside of this place is full of stuffed animals- I mean big animals- like bears and moose! Kids love it. I think it's pretty cool myself. Cool- and not creepy! The pizza pockets are amazing. I don't know how they make their crust, but it's just so good. It's a little chewy, with a thin layer of crunch. The cheese is very tasty, and not some cheap cheese. The prices are very reasonable, and the inside of the building is beautiful-especially the 2nd floor. They have dining in available, as well as take out and delivery. They take credit, cash or check. Very family friendly, and they do numerous fundraisers for the community. All good.

Stopped for lunch with the family. Great service, Pizzas were uncommonly good. Nice having TVS in every direction to watch the ball game. Food was served as quick as one could expect given the unique nature of their pizza and the spears (bread sticks) were an excellent appetizer. Hope to get back to West Branch soon to enjoy the family atmosphere and great food at G's again.

I don't make it back to Michigan very often but every time I do I go to G's. My record is 3 times in a 4 day period. I'm sure the fact that I associate G's with my hometown sways me a bit but they really do have great food. The garlic spears with nacho cheese are my must order item but the barbecue chicken pizza is a close second. The beer selection is good and the prices are reasonable. They have sit down dining, takeout or delivery. Their menu has plenty of options for the whole family and they can handle large groups, they are a fine choice for most situations and worth checking out if you are looking for good pizza.

Nice alternative to the fast food joints when traveling. We were able to call ahead and our food was ready as soon as we sat down. There is a kids room with toys, trains, etc. Gluten-free crust available, too!

stopped in on our way to Traverse City. Great pizza and great people. Can't ask for much more than that!

Never again. I would give it a zero if I could. The food lacks quality and when I wrote a note of disappointment I got a generic response to "come back and try it again". You have got to be kidding me! I replied with this and have yet to hear back a MONTH later. 1. You have failed to ask me the particulars of my visit. 2. Sent back a generic response which is a massive failure to a customer. Similar to "can I help you" upon walking into a business. 3. Took my money for a disappointing experience and ran. 4. Failed to ask how to resolve my unhappiness. 5. Contact me directly via the phone. 6. Told me to come back randomly (as if I would) and assume I would be happy? Let's face it. They had an opportunity to save a customer - and instead I will tell people to never go there again. Rude. And they could care less.

Excellent lunch and a cool rustic Michigan dining room. Margherita pizza seemed like homemade dough and was delicious, and the chicken caprese sandwich had a great pesto sauce. I'd you're going through West Branch, definitely stop by for lunch!

The G's special pizza is terrific! We had salad and pizza- just the right amount of pizza crust, Italian dressing is great!

A local favorite! I have been coming here since I was a child. It keeps getting better and better. Vegetarian pizza with sesame seed crust is where it's at.

Fairly good pizza nothing to rave about, the bread sticks are the usual run of the mill bread sticks. . The restaurant has an interesting Northwoods decor with mounted animals throughout the restaurant. It's worthwhile to eat there to see the displays, have a beer, and some pizza. I wouldn't drive out of my way just to eat G's pizza.

A really nice place to get a pizza. Food is good, from the burrito, to sandwiches, and especially the pizza. They have the best house made ranch around. There 2 floors so even though they can be very busy at times, my wife and I have never had a problem getting seated. The wait staff has always been very pleasant and attentive.

For an informal spot, it was a great stop for a work group. None of us were local but we all ordered something different and were all very satisfied with our lunch. The service was very friendly and fairly quick. Don't expect too much in terms of ambience.

I consider myself a pizza snob and I would rate their pizza as above average. For local detroiters I would compare the recipe as simliar to the Alibi Inn in Rochester or Luigi's in Harrison Township. Quality fresh ingredients on a semi thin crust. Some other points.. Great subs and one of the most interesting Decors of any restaurants I have ever seen. They have a stuffed Kodiak bear in the middle of the restaurant and the thing is huge .. I feel as if it weighed close to a ton when it was alive. So far the best place I have found in West Branch to eat.

For a deep dish fan from Chicago, this pizza was pretty good. We tried the whole wheat garlic crust with ham and pineapple. I liked the texture of the crust - not too heavy - G's found the right balance of white and wheat flour. It could have been a little crispier and more garlicky, but it served it's purpose of carrying the gooey mozzarella into our bellies. G's has a great northwoods atmosphere, including a stuffed Kodiak bear to greet you as you first walk in. Deer and other creatures adorn a two level foyer that lets you know you're not in Kansas anymore! Service was okay - we ordered a 12" and received a 6" pizza instead. Our 12" pizza arrived shortly thereafter, with an apology from our server. She overcharged us for the mistake, but since we got an additional 6", we didn't complain. She also rang up the wrong total for the credit card, so we had to wait while she voided that and re-rang the order. Hopefully, it was just an off day - I'm guessing that it's probably the best pizza place in this small Victorian lake town.

We were there on Saturday around 8 o'clock and the three of us were seated immediately. Son (teen) ordered the small 6" pie and could barely finish two slices! These things are filling. Wife had the small greek pizza and liked it (there was a small issue with broccoli being on it and waitress removed it from the bill. I had a regular 7" pizza and it met my expectaions. Good crust and sauce. Only regret...not ordering some bread. A neighboring table had some and they couldn't stop raving about it.

This is one of the biggest things I miss from my home town after moving to Arizona in 2006. Pocket pizza (calzones are not the same), garlic cheese bread, or a sub. It's all good, and it's a great, family-owned business. G's has always been my favorite pizza place in West Branch, and I can't wait to visit home this summer to visit again.

Their Pizza and bread sticks are awesome. They have a really good grilled chicken salad also. Their fish and chips could be better. I think they are frozen out of the box but their Pizza is their specialty. I CRAVE this pizza back home. G's Supreme with green olives... or a Nija Turtle.. YUMMY!!!

Their prices are a little towards the high side but it's honestly the best pizza I've ever had. I hit this place up often. Fast and friendly service and very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping.

Great pizza and cold beer. Dead animals on the wall and Keno. What else could one want in a bar in West Branch Michigan. The pizza is great, go for the garlic crust.

Excellent pizza, frosty mugs of beer and a flatscreen with the bowl game on. Pretty good for a gal with 3 boys in tow!
